| The educational
goal of this department is to provide courses about medicinal
chemistry and biomaterials, including analytical theories
and practical applications. The department emphasizes
on life-time learning and cultivation of professional
ethics. Currently the department focuses on training up
high-tech talents related to the medicinal industry in
order to match up the requirements of the society and
the development of the country. The education and research
interests within the department have mapped out four major
directions: medicine synthesis, nature products, analysis
technique, and biomaterial science. Educational courses
focus on medicine synthesis, medical analysis, nature
products, biotechnology, drug release control, polymer
and biomaterials, in coordination with basic chemistry
knowledge. |

| There are
a lot of job opportunities for graduated students of this
department, such as manufacturing and researching in pharmaceutical
companies and related industries which related to biotechnology,
biomaterial, electronics, cosmetics, petrifaction, chemistry,
environment protection, food and medicine examination.
The school is near the Tainan Science Park, Kaohsiung
Biotechnology Park, An-Ping Industrial Park, and Linyuan
Industrial Park, so lots of careers are related to this
department, providing large amounts of job opportunities. |
